We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. As a critical care nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices.
- Delegate patient care priorities to staff members based on their education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department.
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed.
- Experience with charting systems, including Cerner, Merge, and PowerChart.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The Registered Nurse will be working in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment, providing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and the department.
