The Lead Brand Strategist will oversee significant projects, which may include product renovations, launching new product lines, brand design initiatives, and executing enterprise strategies, along with managing daily business operations such as sales performance assessments, volume predictions, and budget oversight.
The ideal candidate will possess both analytical and strategic capabilities, adept at transforming data insights into compelling narratives that influence senior management. They will take ownership of their projects, demonstrating pragmatic leadership and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve excellence. A growth-oriented mindset, resilience, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment are essential.
This position is part of a rotational program, with the initial assignment to be determined. The expected duration of each rotation will range from 6 to 24 months, tailored to development opportunities, exposure to various marketing competencies, and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and identify key opportunities.
- Create compelling narratives to advocate for product concepts internally and externally.
- Explore innovation trends and their real-world applications.
- Develop comprehensive enterprise strategies and long-term innovation platforms.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee budget management in close partnership with finance.
- Collaborate with the Brand team and cross-functional partners to execute media campaigns and integrated marketing strategies, including tracking and optimization.
- Lead critical portfolio management initiatives, including line extensions and packaging updates.
- Act as the business representative by spearheading data analytics and reporting, conducting consumer and competitive analyses, and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Manage P&L oversight, forecasting, and demand planning with guidance from the Brand Manager.
- Provide insights on media strategies and consumer targeting to inform tactical planning.
- Oversee marketing activities across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
- An MBA is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in brand management or marketing is required.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to various teams and brand missions while driving performance.
- Willingness to support multiple brands and adjust focus areas through short-term assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Collaborative team player with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to respond swiftly to changing market dynamics.
