Job Summary

The Weld Robotic Operator is a key member of our manufacturing team at PlayCore Wisconsin Inc., responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our products. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, robotic systems, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality control documents to ensure accurate production.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with the robotics technician to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors.
  • Load and unload materials, using manual handling equipment as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, robotic systems, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in welding or manufacturing preferred.
Working Conditions

The Weld Robotic Operator will work in a manufacturing environment, exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards. The employee must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policies and safety procedures.
