Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the work of Groundskeeping staff, including supervising and training employees, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, repair maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with other departments and units to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Develop and manage budgets, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a medium or large-sized work staff or facility.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical data, including drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APPA (Leadership in Educational Facilities) certification.
  • CEFP (Certified Educational Facilities Professional) certification.
  • Experience with Workday Enterprise Management Software.
