We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at Piezo Technologies. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling Piezo transducer sub-assemblies and units under well-defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Assembly Tasks: Assemble Piezo transducer sub-assemblies and units, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Review and Confirm Operations: Review shop traveler route cards or uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm the sequence of operations.
- Position and Bond Parts: Position very small parts, such as fine pins, wires, and solder particles, using tweezers or positioning fixtures. Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens.
- Test and Inspect: Perform in-process testing and inspect assembled units to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Record Data: Record test data into computer systems.
- Maintain Records: Maintain proper paperwork throughout the assembly process.
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant production assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Skills: Soldering experience preferred. Manual dexterity required for operating equipment, computers, and small parts. Ability to read and interpret basic company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent education and work experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
The Assembly Operator will work in a manufacturing environment, performing tasks that require standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, or climbing. The incumbent may be exposed to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
