About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.

As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technician program or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year of experience as a surgical technician or related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
