As a key member of the medical team, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will be essential in accurately positioning patients, administering contrast agents, and collaborating with radiologists and medical teams to confirm imaging needs and protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating images for clarity, maintaining detailed patient records, and implementing radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. You will also need to be registered and certified in the State of California and hold a current BLS certification. With 5+ years of experience as a staff radiologic technologist in an accredited acute care hospital, you will be well-equipped to handle the demands of this role.
