Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing assessment and care to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Prepare patients for procedures, obtain medical histories, and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
• Participate in patient education, including providing instructions for discharge and promoting health literacy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
• Active RN license in the state where work will be conducted.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current Pre-op/PACU experience (within past 2 years).
• Ability to make sound nursing judgments and prioritize patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
