Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of staff and volunteers in residential construction projects, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support.
  • Train and mentor unskilled volunteers in construction skills, including mold sanitation and interior rebuild.
  • Ensure compliance with work scope and quality standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear instructions and constructive feedback.
  • Manage records of work completed, tracking material usage, volunteer hours, and scopes performed.
  • Represent the organization positively on base, with homeowners, and within the community.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with All Hands and Hearts preferred, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in remodeling and rebuilding homes in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license, good written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Working Conditions
  • Constantly works in outdoor adverse weather conditions.
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. on work site or on base.
  • Frequently operates construction equipment and computer.
  • Frequently ascends/descends ladders and scaffolding.
Benefits
  • Typical starting salary is $14.00-$15.00 / hour, with potential for up to $16.00 / hour for highly qualified candidates.
