Position Overview
This role is integral to our team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and managing product displays while supporting the overall management of the store.

Key Responsibilities
1. Welcome and assist customers, addressing inquiries about products and guiding them through their shopping experience using effective sales techniques.
2. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork related to pricing, operations, and inventory management.
3. Unpack and verify incoming merchandise, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
4. Organize and present merchandise according to company standards, creating attractive displays to enhance sales.
5. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
6. Stay informed about new products and promotional items to better assist customers.
7. Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard store assets.
8. Utilize store technology effectively, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools.

Additional Responsibilities
1. Provide assistance with paint mixing and color matching.
2. Offer recommendations for various in-store services such as cutting and repairs.
3. Operate the cash register, ensuring accurate transactions and engaging customers through suggestive selling techniques.
4. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
1. Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements
This position requires regular walking, lifting, and handling of merchandise, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment
