Salary: $60k Base + industry-leading incentive plan. Total Target Comp range $150k - $500k+

We are looking for an enthusiastic Virtual Sales Team Leader to spearhead our remote sales initiative. This position is pivotal in the strategic planning, execution, and growth of our lead generation efforts within the designated area. The Virtual Sales Team Leader will oversee all marketing activities, ensuring the success and development of their teams. This role involves coaching, inspiring, and managing a group of energy consultants to achieve and surpass their goals. Exceptional leadership skills, strong communication capabilities, and a commitment to renewable energy are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and cultivate a high-performance virtual sales program.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a virtual sales team, equipping them with the necessary tools for success.
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop or enhance systems and processes to support objectives.
  • Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster a vibrant and positive team culture.
  • Track sales metrics, provide regular updates, and conduct team meetings for ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and enhance customer experiences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and regulations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and performance metrics while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Promote and uphold a culture of total safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory obligations.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in solar sales.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience with a passion for coaching, training, and motivating others.
  • Proven success in recruiting, training, and leading sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer/technology skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Salesforce, and Solar Proposal Tools (Aurora, Solo, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and network effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • A positive attitude and resilience in overcoming challenges.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and remain stationary for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
