Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to enhance our current team in the modernization, transformation, and management of our computing infrastructure.

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate expertise in both traditional monolithic systems and contemporary cloud/Kubernetes frameworks.

You should also have strong analytical capabilities, with the foresight to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement an IT infrastructure that fosters growth, automation, and improved user experience across various departments.


Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current and future information requirements and establish how information systems should be deployed, configured, and sustained.

Offer technical guidance on transitioning from monolithic systems to cloud/Kubernetes platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.

Actively participate as a team member in the deployment and management of the computing infrastructure.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required.

At least 5 years of experience with monolithic systems such as UNIX, Windows, virtualization, networking, firewalls, load balancers, and servers.

2 or more years of experience with cloud/Kubernetes technologies including Azure, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Splunk.

Strong understanding of Certificates, DNS, DHCP, OAuth, Authentication, and Authorization.

Proficient in developing utilities using Java, Python, Perl, and/or Bash.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and to engage with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere is advantageous.

Familiarity with Redhat Openshift is a plus.

Experience in Public Sector implementations is beneficial.
