We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Centralized Sterile Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System.
Job Summary:The Centralized Sterile Technician will be responsible for providing support to the total health care team by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Pack and store sterilized instruments and equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Transport supplies and equipment as needed
- Work collaboratively with the health care team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program
- Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred
