Job Summary:

Sterile Processing Techs at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will be responsible for the efficient and meticulous decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that all instruments are properly cleaned, disinfected, and prepared for use in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

- Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using various methods, including autoclaving and chemical disinfection.
- Inspect and assemble surgical instruments, equipment, trays, and packs according to prescribed protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of instrument processing and inventory management.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a sterile processing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
