Logistics Driver

As a Logistics Driver with US Foods, you will play a critical role in delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. With a starting hourly rate of $29.40 and increasing to $34.60 after training, you have the potential to earn between $85K - 120K in your first year. Top performers can make up to $135K. Additionally, you will enjoy a $10K retention bonus, 401K with company match, medical benefits starting on day one, and home nightly. The schedule offers flexible work options and weekly pay.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Unload products and verify accuracy of delivery with customers
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language
