Job Summary

As a Brake Technician at Goodyear, you will be responsible for performing brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and preventative maintenance. You will also perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving. Additionally, you will document all work performed on the repair order and report any safety issues immediately to management. You will maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and preventative maintenance
  • Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of brake systems and be able to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively. You will also need to be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
