K&I HEALTHCARE SERVICES LLC is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional behavioral health services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Behavioral Health Program Director to join our team.

Job Description

The Lead Behavioral Health Program Director will be responsible for managing the Substance Abuse Department, ensuring the coordination and implementation of client educational/therapeutic activities, clinical and administrative supervision of SUD staff, review and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures, utilization review and supervision of admission activities to determine appropriate levels of care, development and implementation of program changes designed to meet the needs of the population served.

Key Responsibilities
  • In partnership with the CEO & Medical Director, execute established clinical outcome Key Performance Indicators including patient retention, successful program completion rates, direct client care, clinical outcomes, program census and attendance, and Average Length of Stay.
  • In partnership with the CEO & Medical Director, ensure SUD staff Key Performance Indicators including counselor direct care hours are being met.
  • Set a standard of clinical and professional excellence providing clear expectations and accountability for all SUD staff, ensuring that all staff adhere to guiding principles.
  • Along with the CEO & Medical Director, oversee overall patient satisfaction, responding to patient concerns and resolving clinical, program, and customer service issues with solutions that align with established ethical guidelines and best practices.
  • Safeguard model fidelity, ensuring an evidence-based, harm reduction and recovery-oriented approach to patient care is promoted and practiced.
  • Develop expertise in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Trauma Informed Treatment Approaches, assisting in training clinical staff in these approaches.
  • Provide supervision with a focus on performance management as well as clinical certification or licensure.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree preferred (preferably in social work, human services, behavioral health).
  • CAC-AD license required.
  • At least three solid years of work experience in substance and behavioral health services.
  • Minimum five years of work experience in the capacity of administrative supervision and oversight.
  • Meet state and regulatory requirements to provide Clinical Supervision to Substance Use Disorder clinical staff in Maryland.
  • Experience providing group and individual counseling to individuals with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership position within the human services field.
  • Familiarity with state/federal regulations, CARF standards, and DEA regulations when necessary.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $100,000, depending on licensure and qualifications.
