Engages in various tasks to assist in fulfilling customer orders. Cleans and maintains equipment used in beverage preparation. Processes transactions at the cash register, accepting payments and providing change.

JOB DUTIES:

The Starbucks Operations Supervisor at Randalls is generally responsible for the following tasks:

  • Deliver customer service as defined by the company within the scope of the position and in alignment with company policies.
  • Engage with customers to address issues related to sales, service dissatisfaction, or other operational concerns.
  • Train, schedule, and oversee barista personnel to ensure optimal staffing for the department.
  • Provide financial updates to the Store Manager and Field Supervisor.
  • Ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Update signage and pricing as directed by merchandising.
  • Document orders in the order guidebook and enter them into the system. Confirm order completeness upon receipt.
  • Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
  • Operate the electronic cash register to finalize customer transactions. Process payments and provide accurate change.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the coffee service area.
  • Set up and manage displays in the coffee section.
  • Restock supplies in the preparation area from inventory.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to adhere to company customer service protocols. Proven experience in customer service or related fields. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Capability to comprehend and follow instructions. Preferred: Previous management experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Barista staff.

Varies based on location and applicable state/county regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
