Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our healthcare system.
About the RoleThe Primary Care Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in an ambulatory setting. This includes conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting
- Conduct physical exams and diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Train and supervise medical trainees, students, and mid-level providers
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, department and division meetings, and faculty development sessions
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Maintenance of affiliations with academic and professional organizations
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Annual Base Salary: $205,000* (board eligible); $210,000* (board certified)
- Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits)
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days
