Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of Field Service Engineers, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Field Service Engineering team, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement solutions.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and technical oversight to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a similar field.
  • Experience: At least eight (8) years of related work experience, including range operations associated with aircraft and/or spacecraft testing, and at least two years of work group lead or supervisory experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills, computer system literacy, technical familiarity with range communications systems, ability to manage a technically diverse workforce, and ability to effectively present technical information to various audiences.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work extended and flexible hours, including weekends. The role will also require travel as needed, and the ability to work on aerial platforms and in an outdoor desert environment.
