Mission Planner

We are Lockheed Martin, a leading innovator in defense and aerospace. We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Planner to join our team at Edwards AFB, CA.

The successful candidate will support current mission planning tasking and expand the capabilities of the Mission Planning Environment for F-35 Developmental Test.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and reviewing mission plans for every flight test event
• Collaborating with Operations Group and IPTs to ensure seamless planning and execution
• Documenting and driving anomalies to closure via the SPAR process
• Testing missing planning releases, software fixes, and vetting technical data
• Establishing relationships and collaboration between US Government and Contractor entities
• Reviewing and updating internal and external documentation to streamline processes

Requirements include:

• Minimum 2 years' experience with mission planning software on a tactical aircraft platform
• Demonstrated F-35 Mission Planning experience, specifically with MPSE and JMPS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
