Role Summary

The Healthcare Office Supervisor will oversee the efficient operation of various administrative functions within the healthcare setting. This position requires a strong background in healthcare management and proficiency in relevant software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage scheduling conflicts and resolve issues as they arise
  • Ensure accurate patient scheduling and maintain a smooth workflow
  • Regularly review patient schedules to identify and address overbooking or staffing challenges
  • Foster a patient-centered culture focused on enhancing patient satisfaction
  • Maintain communication with management regarding personnel, resources, and patient-related matters
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and services
  • Adhere to departmental policies to ensure safety and compliance
  • Monitor and achieve practice-specific performance benchmarks
  • Maintain a welcoming clinical environment conducive to productivity for staff and physicians
  • Coordinate maintenance for all clinical equipment
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Alternatively, an associate degree in healthcare with at least 2 years of management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with EpicCare software
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical office management
