The Healthcare Office Supervisor will oversee the efficient operation of various administrative functions within the healthcare setting. This position requires a strong background in healthcare management and proficiency in relevant software.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage scheduling conflicts and resolve issues as they arise
- Ensure accurate patient scheduling and maintain a smooth workflow
- Regularly review patient schedules to identify and address overbooking or staffing challenges
- Foster a patient-centered culture focused on enhancing patient satisfaction
- Maintain communication with management regarding personnel, resources, and patient-related matters
- Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and services
- Adhere to departmental policies to ensure safety and compliance
- Monitor and achieve practice-specific performance benchmarks
- Maintain a welcoming clinical environment conducive to productivity for staff and physicians
- Coordinate maintenance for all clinical equipment
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of management experience in a healthcare setting
- Alternatively, an associate degree in healthcare with at least 2 years of management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EpicCare software
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical office management
