Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our team at GPAC. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a field survey crew in various types of surveys, including boundary and topographic surveys. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure accurate and efficient survey work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a field survey crew
  • Conduct and manage surveys, including boundary and topographic surveys
  • Use and understand survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors
  • Download and upload survey data to and from the office
  • Read and interpret construction plans
  • Locate property corners and perform other survey-related tasks

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in surveying, with the ability to lead a crew
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret data
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
