Job Title: Program Manager

Creative Electronics and Software (CES) is a leading electronic component manufacturing company seeking a skilled Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will act as a liaison between our customers and our organization, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate customer RFQ requests and distribute them to our quoting team for new and repeat product assemblies.
  2. Launch new product meetings and ensure timely execution.
  3. Enter customer purchase orders into our MRP system and create sales and work orders or revise existing orders.
  4. Monitor and follow up on existing orders to ensure timely delivery.
  5. Create packing lists for shipments and verify accuracy.
  6. Arrange for shipments to customers and ensure timely delivery.
  7. Track orders from inception to ship date and ensure compliance with deadline requirements.
  8. Collaborate with customers, production, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  9. Communicate with customers and record job details, including specifications, deadlines, and quantities.
  10. Examine order details to ensure feasibility and identify potential objections.
  11. Research existing data to determine if this is a repeat job and enter request for quotes into our system.
  12. Prepare material quotes and forward for labor costing and profit data.
  13. Identify potential objections and involve the team in resolving them.
  14. Schedule orders with the assistance of our Production team.
  15. Consult various departments to resolve issues and ensure timely shipment.
  16. Document customer complaints and enlist support to resolve the issue.
  17. Assist purchasing in sourcing materials specific to customer jobs.
  18. Notify the team of pertinent information concerning customers, competitors, and trends.
  19. Schedule regular visits to assigned customers.
  20. Proactively pursue new business with established customers through history analysis and courtesy calls.

Requirements:

  1. Product and industry knowledge.
  2. Prior experience in customer service required.
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  4. Strong customer service/sales skills, a sense of urgency, follow-thru, and attention to detail.
  5. The ability to work with others to resolve problems.
  6. Prior experience with an MRP system or Manex is a plus.
  7. Demonstrated competency in using email and the internet.
  8. Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
