Job Summary

OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional cancer treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer
  • Collaborate with radiation therapists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment delivery
  • Conduct regular patient evaluations and assessments to monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
  • Current medical licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center
  • Eligibility to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
