Role Summary:
We are seeking a Production Technician to contribute to our production operations. This role is essential for those who are enthusiastic about providing solutions and supporting a high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in harvest operations including preparation, drying, shelling, and product unloading.
  • Execute various tasks related to plant, field, and warehouse operations throughout the year.
  • Monitor automated machinery for processes such as harvesting, conditioning, and packing.
  • Participate in product return and sorting tasks.
  • Assist in conditioning processes like sizing, packaging, and palletizing.
  • Conduct field activities including scouting and logistics management.
  • Utilize automation and computer systems to perform job functions.
  • Handle warehouse responsibilities such as forklift operation and sample collection.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma/GED or commitment to obtain GED within twelve months of employment.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work in various conditions, including elevated areas and extreme weather.
  • Proficient with technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-Year Technical or Associate Degree.
  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, or agriculture.
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles and agricultural equipment.

On-Site Requirement:
This role requires presence at the Corteva location.
