Key Responsibilities:
As a Wound Care Nurse RN, your primary duties will include overseeing the community's skin management program. You will provide safe, efficient, and effective care to promote healing for various wound types, such as surgical sites, ulcers, pressure sores, feeding tube locations, and abscesses. Your role will involve assessing wounds, developing and executing treatment plans, monitoring for infections, and performing wound care.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for working with the elderly population
- A flexible, energetic, and positive demeanor
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in your practicing state
- Previous experience in Wound Care is essential
- At least one year of experience in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility/Assisted Living/Memory Care setting is required
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekday and weekend on-call duties
- Competitive compensation up to $40/hr based on experience.
