Job Title: Senior Infrastructure IAC Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure IAC Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage company and industry best practices to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IaC solutions
  • Support software tool customization and automation, including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
  • Assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare
  • Assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments
  • Assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution
Requirements:
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics and 2+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
  • Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
  • A current TS/SCI with a CI Poly Security Clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
  • Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
  • VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere)
  • Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
  • Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify)
  • General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket)
  • Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain

This role is a U.S.-based role, and if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
