Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Vascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). As a RN, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Our Vascular Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit is a 24-bed unit that specializes in vascular surgery, telemetry, and renal/pancreas transplant patients. We are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth and development for our nurses.

As a RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with vascular surgeries such as aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries, and amputations. You will also have the chance to work with our renal/pancreas transplant team and care for patients in the outpatient transplant center.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and admit patients, developing individualized care plans that meet their unique needs
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing rounds, and communicating with family members
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in vascular care
Requirements
  • RN License
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, or ENPC (depending on the specific clinical area)
