About the Role
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients. Our hospital is a 643-bed facility that offers all major diagnostic, surgical, and medical services, and is recognized for its excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
As a CRNA, your responsibilities will include:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment and preparation of patients for surgery
- Obtaining and verifying patient consent for anesthesia services
- Discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients and their families
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring patients' physiological condition and responding to any changes or complications
- Performing clinical interventions as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
