Heavy Truck Technician

Purpose:
The Heavy Truck Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of heavy machinery used in construction. They work with the biggest engines, inspecting, servicing, and repairing any damage to the engine or vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform independent preventative maintenance and repairs for a fleet of Dump Trucks and Lowboys
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify safety-related and other defects
- Collaborate with a diverse range of people to meet their needs and requests
- Full-time (10 hour days)
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and special days
- Overtime may be required
- Mechanical repair experience on heavy trucks and dump trucks
- Experience in the transportation/trucking industry
- Current valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Ability to legally work in the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Computer skills
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Brake and AC Certified
