Heavy Truck Maintenance Specialist

The Material Transfer Heavy Truck Mechanic is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our heavy machinery fleet. As a skilled mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing heavy trucks and dump trucks, working closely with our team to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform independent preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of heavy trucks and dump trucks
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address safety-related and other defects
- Collaborate with a diverse range of team members to meet their needs and requests
- Full-time position with 10-hour days
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Overtime may be required
- Proven mechanical repair experience on heavy trucks and dump trucks
- Experience in the transportation/trucking industry
- Current valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Ability to legally work in the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Computer skills
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Brake and AC Certified
