Job Summary:

InsideHigherEd seeks a highly skilled Academic Clinician in Cardiac Critical Care Medicine to join our team. As a Professor of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to the development of our department's clinical and educational programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the areas of cardiac critical care medicine and pediatric cardiology
  • Contribute to the development of our department's clinical and educational programs, including the creation of educational materials and the design of educational programs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and families

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • ABP certification or board eligibility
  • Pennsylvania licensure
  • Experience in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in academic medicine and teaching
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and policy development
