Job Summary

MegaMex Foods LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for providing support to our maintenance personnel by issuing out parts, maintaining inventory, and protecting assets of maintenance parts.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Ensure that parts are stored in the correct location and maintain accurate inventory records.
  2. Part Issuance: Work with maintenance personnel to issue out parts as needed and maintain accurate records of part usage.
  3. Asset Protection: Protect assets of maintenance parts by maintaining accurate inventory records and preventing loss or theft.
  4. Supply Chain Management: Work with Mechanical Supply Clerks to receive and ship parts as needed.
  5. Asset Tracking: Use Asset Management System to track parts and assets.
  6. Requisition Management: Work with mechanics to complete requisitions for needed parts.
  7. Cycle Counts: Complete monthly cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
  8. Lubricant Management: Maintain lubricant inventories and ensure that they are properly stored and tracked.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to three years of work experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish not necessary but a plus.
  • Ability to compute basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Ability to define and research problems and apply solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of business systems and software applications.
  • Experience with Windows Office and asset management systems.
