Position Overview
At Sunrise Senior Living, our Care Manager plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and services to a dedicated group of residents and their families within our assisted living and memory care communities. Compensation starting at $18+ per hour based on experience. Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

Establish meaningful connections with a designated group of seniors and their families by assisting with daily living activities, addressing individual care requirements, and understanding their unique preferences and personalities.

Alert management to any changes in residents' conditions and suggest modifications in care and service levels.

Support residents in life skills and other enriching activities as outlined in their individual profiles.

Incorporate a variety of multi-sensory experiences into residents' daily routines.

Engage in the creation of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and participate in monthly updates.

Accountable for a specific group of residents during each shift, ensuring their whereabouts and conducting regular physical checks.

Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and promote Risk Management initiatives and policies; adhere to safety regulations.

Attend to the dining needs of residents and guests while upholding Sunrise's hospitality and service standards.

Encourage and assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated in their ISP and demographic profiles.

Qualifications
  • Commitment to and enthusiasm for serving seniors with outstanding customer service skills.
  • Positive demeanor, adaptability to perform various duties in service to residents, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success.
  • High School diploma or GED is accepted and may be required according to state regulations.
  • In states where applicable, must maintain necessary certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • Ability to make informed choices, decisions, and act in the best interest of residents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a good level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exhibit sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
