BBSI Twin Falls is seeking a skilled Weatherization Technician to join our team. As a Weatherization Technician, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners reduce energy consumption and costs by making their homes more energy-efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in weatherizing homes by insulating attics, floors, heat ducts, walls, and water pipes.
- Install windows and doors to improve energy efficiency.
- Load and unload weatherization materials as needed.
- Complete documentation for reporting purposes.
- Operate table saws, chop saws, circular saws, and other standard carpentry tools.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
- Minimum of one year of construction experience on residential homes (preferred).
- Knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- Ability to travel out of town overnight.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Idaho driver's license (preferred).
- Ability to pass an enhanced Department of Health and Welfare background check with fingerprints and drug test.
Benefits:
- Full-time, temp-to-hire position.
- Competitive hourly rate of $16.00.
- Day shift, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts.
