Job Summary:

BBSI Twin Falls is seeking a skilled Weatherization Technician to join our team. As a Weatherization Technician, you will play a critical role in helping homeowners reduce energy consumption and costs by making their homes more energy-efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in weatherizing homes by insulating attics, floors, heat ducts, walls, and water pipes.
  • Install windows and doors to improve energy efficiency.
  • Load and unload weatherization materials as needed.
  • Complete documentation for reporting purposes.
  • Operate table saws, chop saws, circular saws, and other standard carpentry tools.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
  • Minimum of one year of construction experience on residential homes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
  • Ability to travel out of town overnight.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid Idaho driver's license (preferred).
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Department of Health and Welfare background check with fingerprints and drug test.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, temp-to-hire position.
  • Competitive hourly rate of $16.00.
  • Day shift, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts.
