Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and participate in cleaning all facility equipment and building structures in accordance with established cleaning procedures.
- Ensure sanitation employees comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Organize sanitation activities in a cost-effective manner to meet established performance guidelines.
- Delegate, organize, and prioritize sanitation employees' daily tasks.
- Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures.
- Lead the team in a fair and ethical manner.
- Instill a culture of accountability within the sanitation team.
- Operate, disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment in a safe and timely manner.
- Lead by example in attendance, safety, GMPs, quality of work, organization, and follow-through.

- Work closely with and effectively coordinate with production and maintenance to foster a team atmosphere.
- Operate within a departmental budget for labor and supplies.
- Adjust the sanitation schedule as necessary to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation.
- Supervise and manage activities directly related to the daily business and department needs.
- Develop, analyze, and deliver simple to complex information to direct reports.
- Provide immediate supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
- Mentor and lead production associates.
- Ensure associates are trained for and compliant with all applicable operations.
- Assign duties and operations based on daily department needs.
- Ensure quality products are produced and department metrics are achieved.
- Effectively communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns between shifts to ensure expectations are met.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Safeguard and maintain company equipment and property, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure all areas are kept clean at all times.
- Attend all company training sessions.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing or supervising employees in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to train on food safety, food quality, regulatory requirements, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Good work history and ability to learn.
- Minimum computer skills at an intermediate level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Able to meet physical demands in the work environment as generally described below.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, frequently lift material up to 50 pounds, and frequently twist, turn, reach, push, and pull. The employee must also be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk, and hear.
Work Environment:
Work is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, the employee may be exposed to work in a production setting and cold temperatures (-20 degrees) at times. The employee must be flexible with the work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. The schedule may include weekends.
