We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project execution.
- Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity.
- Contribute to the successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects for HNTB's clients.
- Develop project quantities and assist with the development of cost estimates.
- Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Exhibits proficiency in applying engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles in work.
- Displays proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or other software as required for job assignments.
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Knowledgeable in MicroStation ORD and/or AutoCAD.
