Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image capture
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including still images and video recordings
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
