Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts. You will position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust the x-ray equipment, and determine the proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed.
  • Position patients for imaging exams.
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams.
  • Produce diagnostic images.
  • Document exam information.
  • Report important information to the physician.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology: Preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required.
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred.
