Position Overview:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience and current licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Key Responsibilities:
As a Structural Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct engineering calculations and design layouts in compliance with established policies, standards, and codes, exercising independent judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize practical knowledge and experience to address project-related challenges and conflicts.
  • Make independent decisions on engineering tasks for assigned projects.
  • Occasionally oversee junior personnel or collaborate with other engineers and designers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of discipline-specific codes and building regulations.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provide leadership to educate clients on design and project requirements.
  • Engage with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to discuss design scope, schedules, budgets, and site issues.
  • Assist in preparing design budgets and schedules, estimating man-hours needed for project completion.
  • Lead and assign design tasks to designated designers, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Implement system types as directed by the Project Engineer, delivering comprehensive construction documents that meet client and project team specifications.
  • Review engineering designs with other disciplines for functionality, clearances, and coordination.
  • Conduct final reviews of engineering drawings.
  • Maintain client communication.
  • Perform quality assurance on projects in collaboration with the technical manager or project engineer.
  • Mentor and inspire Engineering Designers I, II, and III.
  • Uphold high standards of professional integrity while prioritizing the interests of the company and clients.
  • Meet tight deadlines while ensuring quality design output.
