Job Title: Laboratory Technician I

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to join our team at Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics.

Job Summary

The Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen, including collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving. This role will also involve interfacing with clients to resolve specimen issues, recommending changes in services and processes to enhance pre-analytical efficiencies, and working with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-analytical processes, including specimen collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
  • Interface with clients to resolve specimen issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Recommend changes in services and processes to enhance pre-analytical efficiencies and improve client satisfaction
  • Work with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints and develop solutions to improve laboratory operations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
