Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join their team in a dynamic school district in the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of the school community, the successful candidate will provide essential support services to students, teachers, and parents to promote academic success, emotional well-being, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' learning and development.
  • Counseling and Support
    • Provide counseling services to students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop effective support strategies.
  • Consultation and Collaboration
    • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' individual needs and develop supportive learning environments.
    • Provide training and workshops on topics related to mental health, learning disabilities, and crisis intervention.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and related fields.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
