We are currently seeking a dedicated and full-time Pain Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our team in Vancouver, Washington. Our expert staff is committed to uncovering the underlying causes of pain and developing effective management plans. By collaborating with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, nurses, and therapists, we aim to assist our patients in achieving optimal functionality. The ideal candidate will exhibit a compassionate demeanor and a comprehensive approach to managing chronic pain, working closely with other healthcare team members as necessary. Key responsibilities encompass conducting thorough consultations, collaborating with interventional specialists to plan procedures, and coordinating post-care management strategies. Furthermore, the role entails safe and judicious assessment and management of pharmacological treatments.

Position Highlights:

  • Become part of a well-established team consisting of four experienced physicians, clinicians, and medical assistants.
  • Work schedule: 0.8 FTE, full-time, four days a week with eight-hour shifts, including evening on-call duties on a 1:4 rotation.
  • Engage in outpatient practice, managing a patient load of 14-18 individuals daily, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Facilitate referrals to PeaceHealth's comprehensive services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ultrasound, laboratory, and radiology.
