As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 2 years old. This position requires a dynamic individual who can cultivate a collaborative teaching atmosphere, oversee the curriculum, and manage daily classroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute educational programs by developing classroom activities that align with early learning standards and are suitable for developmental stages.
- Lead and inspire your teaching team by modeling effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Organize both individual and group activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional development among children.
- Maintain a professional development plan to ensure ongoing improvement and quality in teaching practices.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and state regulations to ensure a safe and compliant learning environment.
- Collaborate with staff, children, and families to create a supportive community atmosphere.
- Encourage a classroom culture of sharing, caring, and self-regulation among students.
- Promote self-sufficiency and hygiene through positive behavior modeling.
- A High School Diploma or a degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Completion of Florida DCF 45 hours and a willingness to undertake additional training as required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in early childhood education.
- Successful completion of a full level II DCF background check.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
