Spa Hair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Hair Specialist to join our team at Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair spa services to our discerning guests.

• Provide high-quality service: Ensure that every guest receives a personalized experience, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
• Educate guests: Share knowledge on hair care and maintenance, as well as promote additional services that can enhance their overall experience.
• Adhere to procedures: Follow established protocols for each service, ensuring consistency and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Stock equipment and supplies: Maintain a fully stocked workstation with necessary products and linens.
• Maintain cleanliness: Ensure all equipment and workstations meet state law and licensing requirements.
• Setup and teardown: Prepare your service area according to procedure and dispose of laundry in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively: Clearly convey product and service benefits to clients, building trust and rapport.

• Licenses and certifications: Possess current state license and certification in hair spa services.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in similar position within the hotel/resort/guest service industry.
• Physical demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift up to 20 lbs, and exposure to extreme temperatures.

• Competitive salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year (dependent on experience).
