As a key member of our eVinci microreactor development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced reactor systems for commercial, defense, industrial, sea, and space applications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nuclear and mechanical design of reactor core, nuclear components, and radiation shielding using 3D modeling and analysis software.
- Conduct reactor engineering design and analysis calculations related to neutronics, thermal-hydraulics, and radiation for steady-state and transient conditions.
- Evaluate different phases of the nuclear fuel lifecycle, including enrichment, decommissioning, and criticality safety.
- Develop and maintain expertise in NRC, DOE, CNSC, and IAEA regulations for nuclear design and accident analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring engineering rigor to problem-solving and resolution.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in nuclear or radiation field.
- Preferable internship, co-op, or university laboratory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics.
- Preferable advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in an engineering field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
