Job Summary:

As a Dental Assistant II at Guardian Dentistry Partners, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our dentists during procedures, preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for use. You will also be responsible for taking and processing X-rays of patients, performing lab tasks as instructed, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them as they arrive and scheduling appointments. Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for use
Take and process X-rays of patients
Perform lab tasks as instructed
Maintain accurate patient records
Greet patients as they arrive and schedule appointments

Qualifications:

Completion of a certified dental assistant training program required
Radiographic certification required
18 months or more of clinical experience as a dental assistant required
Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with co-workers and patients
