Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized instruction plans to meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
- Establish a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes learning and socialization.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure a seamless transition for children and families.
- Implement the Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and other approved Head Start enrichment programs.
- Provide emotional support and foster a positive classroom climate.
- Supervise children at all times, including during field trips and outdoor activities.
- Maintain accurate records and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Must have or be eligible for a North Dakota teaching license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit on the floor with children.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull equipment and furniture as needed.
