About the Role:The Client Service Specialist will provide high-level support to clients and team members, assessing risk-related matters and making recommendations for risk mitigation. This role requires a strong understanding of underwriting and insurance coverages, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional client service, providing timely and effective support to clients and team members on risk-related matters.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, carriers, and staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the design and implementation of risk management strategies and programs for clients, leveraging expertise in loss control and risk assessment.
- Conduct risk assessments, including safety and prevention program reviews, site observations, and client interviews, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop client-specific risk control key performance indicators and direct measurement of results, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with clients and their insurers to establish mutual beneficial objectives and provide alternative risk control solutions where necessary.
- Provide training and support to clients, leveraging project management skills to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Establish preferred relationships with third-party vendors for services, including loss control, forensic accounting, crisis management, and disaster recovery.
- Three or more years of experience in Commercial Lines Account Management or Claims industry.
- Strong understanding of underwriting and insurance coverages.
- Current Property & Casualty license preferred.
- Tech-savvy, with ability to learn multiple systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management software.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
